K. Surendra Mohan, J.—The only prayer of the counsel for the petitioner in this writ petition is that the petitioner may be permitted to pay the entire amount due to the second respondent bank in instalments. The petitioner is a teacher in a school. Though the prayer for the grant of instalments is opposed by the counsel for the second respondent, since the petitioner has expressed willingness to pay the entire amount I am satisfied that the petitioner can be permitted to pay the amount due in instalments. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the petitioner to pay the entire amount due to the second respondent bank in six equal monthly instalments, the first instalment to be paid on or before 15-7-2012. The subsequent monthly instalments shall be paid on or before the 15th of each succeeding month thereafter. Pending payment of the amount in instalments, all further coercive steps to recover the amounts shall be kept in abeyance. It is made clear that in the event of the petitioner committing default in payment of any of the instalments stipulated above, the second respondent shall be at liberty to continue proceedings for recovery of the amounts due in accordance with law.
