By way of the present appeal filed under Section 5 of the Kerala High Court Act, the original petitioners have challenged the interim order of the learned Single Judge, refusing to grant permission for fireworks display in connection with the Sree Maradu Kottaram Bhagavathy Temple festival from 21/02/2024 to 23/02/2024, de hors the order passed by the respondent authority rejecting the request.
It is the case of the appellants that they are not keen on carrying out the fireworks display, but shall not be prohibited from using 'Kathina' as part of daily rituals. Therefore, it is submitted that the impugned order may be clarified to that extent.
We are of the opinion that the learned Single Judge, through the impugned order, has rightly refused to grant permission for display of fire works on the aforesaid days. If any clarification of the impugned order is required, the appellants can approach the learned Single Judge by filing proper application in that regard.
The writ appeal is dismissed accordingly.
