The petitioner before this Court is a society which is registered under the Uttaranchal Co-operative Societies Act. According to the petitioner, the

term of this society which is for a period of five years has come to an end on 13.04.2018, but since new elections of the Board have not taken place in

the society, therefore, the State Government has appointed an Administrator in the society.Â

Learned counsel for the petitioner has made a statement that this Court in Writ Petition (M/S) No.755 of 2018 and other connected petitions, where

a similar issue was raised, this Court had disposed of the writ petitions with the direction to the State Government to immediately initiate the process of

election, including the preparation of electoral rolls in accordance with law so that newly elected members are elected. Learned counsel for the

petitioner prays that this writ petition may also be disposed of in terms of the orders passed by this Court in Writ petition (M/S) No. 755 of 2018 and

other connected petitions, decided on 23.04.2018.

Learned counsels for the respondents admit this factual position and submit that they have no objection if the present writ petition is also disposed of

in terms of the orders passed by this Court in Writ Petition (M/S) No. 755 of 2018 and other connected matters.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is also disposed of in terms of the orders passed by this Court in WPMS No.755 of 2018 and other

connected matters.
