Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition is directed against an interim order dated 06.11.1992 passed by Presiding Officer, Central Government Industrial Tribunal Cum Labour Court, Kanpur in Industrial Case No.124 of 1986, Anurag Sharma and others Vs. State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur. Through the said order, three applications of the workmen were rejected. Through the first application, in Para12 of the original claim statement and Para5 of the rejoinder, some more facts were sought to be added. Through the second application stay of proceedings for three months was sought. The third application was for a direction to the employer to produce the complete list of names of employees employed in different branches of the Bank at Kanpur.
The Presiding Officer held that as far as first application was concerned, the facts sought to be added were already there in the original written statement and rejoinder. With respect to third application, it was held that earlier interrogatories sought to be served requiring same particulars and information were rejected through order dated 24.04.1990, hence same information could not be sought afterwards.
I do not find any error in the impugned order on the three applications. Applications No.1 & 3 were rightly rejected. As far as Application No.2 for staying the proceedings is concerned, in view of the interim order passed in this writ petition, proceedings remain stayed for 16 years.
Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed.
