Judgment

Heard Mr. Kamminthang Khongsai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents.
At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that the present writ petition may be disposed of by directing the Collector (Land Acquisition), Imphal West, Manipur to consider the representation dated 26.09.2016 submitted by the petitioner and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period.
Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA fairly submitted that as the Collector (Land Acquisition), Imphal West, Manipur is the competent authority to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner, the respondent No. 1 will have no objection in considering and disposing of the said representation and that the respondents have no objection in disposing of the present writ petition as prayed for by the counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the submission made above, the Collector (Land Acquisition), Imphal West, Manipur is directed to consider the aforesaid representation dated 26.09.2016 submitted by the petitioner and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order within a period of 2 (two) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
