Judgment
AFTER going through the complaint and me version of the opposite party we find this is essentially a case where a disconnection has taken place for non -payment of the electric charges. The complainant has raised some other disputes such as non -sanctioning of load to the extent applied for and non -furnishing him the details of the instalment charges. While arguing we found that there is hardly any issue involved1 in the case which can bring it under the scope of the Consumer Protection Act and while debating this point Mr. Jugal Kishore makes an offer that he may be allowed to withdraw the complaint and taken up the matter in arbitration under the provisions of the Electricity Supply Act. He wants permission to do so. We are of the view that in order to put an end to the dispute the offer is fair. We allow Mr. Jugal Kishore to withdraw the complaint and file an application with the concerned Authorities for refering the dispute to arbitration. With these remarks the complaint is dismissed as withdrawn. Complaint dismissed as withdrawn. _
