The affidavit of service filed by Union of India in terms of our order dated 15th May, 2024, indicates service of notice upon the respondent at an address which is not stated in the cause-title of the appeal papers before us.
According to the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing on behalf of the Union of India in the instant matter, her client is in constant correspondence with the respondent in the address where the service of notice has been duly effected. However, since this address has not been stated in the cause-title of the appeal, we direct the appellant, namely, the Union of India represented by the Chief Engineer, Project Swastik, C/o 99 APO, Pin-931717, to amend the cause-title of the instant appeal and include therein the address where service of notice have been effected upon the respondent by the appellant in terms of our earlier order dated 15th May, 2024.
The matter will appear under an appropriate heading three (3) weeks after the monsoon break.
