Judgment
Arindam Lodh, J
Heard Mr. S. Lodh, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. D. Sarma, learned Additional GA appearing for the State-respondents and Mr. CS Sinha, learned counsel appearing for the Tripura Jute Mills.
The simple question involves in this writ petition is that the petitioners have prayed for removing the anomalies in fixing their pay-scale. The petitioners' Association consists of Officers of Tripura Jute Mills. They want immediate removal of the anomalies in fixing their pay-scale and not for extending the benefits arising out of 3rd pay commission.
Mr. D. Sarma, learned Additional GA has submitted that all directions passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court had been complied with by the State-respondents and there is no anomaly in this regard.
However, I have considered the submission of learned counsel appearing for the parties to the lis .
After overall consideration of the submissions, I direct the State-respondents to make an endeavour to look into the matter afresh and consider if any anomaly still exists in fixing the pay-scale of the Officers of Tripura Jute Mills.
The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 (eight) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, the instant writ petition stands disposed.
Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed.
