BLAPL No. 4455 of 2024 & I.A. No. 512 of 2024
This BLAPL is the third application of the petitioner under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C for releasing the petitioner on bail in connection with Khuntuni P.S. Case No. 237 of 2023 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 667 of 2023 pending in the court of the learned S.D.J.M., Athagarh under Sections 341, 323, 353, 332, 307, 34 of IPC along with Section 25 and 27 of the Arms Act and Sections 3 and 5 of the Explosive Substances Act registered against the petitioner and co-accused persons.
This I.A. has been filed for releasing the petitioner on interim bail for a period of three months to attend his ailing mother-Mamtaj Begum who has been admitted in Blue Wheel Hospital (Unit of Blue Wheel National Health Care & Educational Trust), Bhubaneswar on 02.05.2024 on account of brain hemorrhage and as her condition is critical, the petitioner may be released on bail. Medical documents have been annexed to the I.A.
List this matter tomorrow i.e. 14.05.2024 to enable Mr. S.S. Mohapatra, learned Additional Standing Counsel to obtain instructions regarding the averments in the I.A. and authenticity of the medical documents and if there is anybody else in the family of the petitioner to look after his ailing mother.
