This appeal is directed against the interim order dated January 4, 2017, staying the operation of a draft notification dated June 10, 2016, by the Transport Secretary to form a new comprehensive area scheme for the entire State of Karnataka.

We have heard Sri.B.Palakshaiah, learned counsel appearing for the Transport Corporations, Mr.A.D.Ramananda, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 and Mr.Vivek Holla, learned government pleader appearing for the State.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, in our considered view, justice would be subserved if we make a request to the Hon''ble Single Judge to consider hearing the writ petition. We accordingly, request the Hon''ble Single Judge to consider hearing the writ petition, expeditiously, subject to His Lordship''s convenience.

The writ appeal stands disposed of.

In view of the disposal of the writ appeal, the pending interlocutory application does not survive for consideration and is, accordingly, disposed of.

We make no order as to costs.
