Judgment
MA no. 56 of 2023 has been preferred by the respondent insisting production of the original Interconnect Agreement, which has already been produced by the original petitioner, which is taken on record.
Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the respondent is not at all an LCO, it is a distributor. It is further submitted by the counsel for the respondent that the agreement, which has been produced on record by the petitioner, was never been signed by the respondent and there is a forgery committed by the petitioner for which FIR has already been lodged by the respondent before the concerned police station which is under investigation.
In view of those submissions, petitioner reiterates the stand taken in petition that the respondent has entered into an interconnect agreement and, therefore, this Broadcasting Petition is tenable in law before this Tribunal.
We, therefore, direct both the petitioner as well as the respondent to point out to this Tribunal the names and addresses of the Government approved handwriting experts so that we can choose one of them and can send the original
Interconnect Agreement which is produced on record by the original petitioner.
This matter is adjourned to 31.07.2023.
