Judgment

Present Short Term Bail Application has been filed on the ground that the marriage of the appellant’s real sister is scheduled to take place on 21.01.2024 and the marriage of his real brother is scheduled to take place on 22.01.2024.

Heard Mr. Lalit Sharma, learned counsel for appellant (through video conferencing) and Mr. J.S. Virk, learned Deputy Advocate General for State.
It has been submitted by Mr. J.S. Virk, learned Deputy Advocate General, that as per the instruction, the marriage of the appellant’s sister is to take place on 21.01.2024 and his brother’s marriage is to take place on 22.01.2024.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the present matter, the Short Term Bail Application is allowed for a period of two weeks from the date of his release with the following conditions.
(i) Appellant be released on Short Term Bail for a period of two weeks’ from the date of his release on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.30,000/- with two reliable sureties, each in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Court concerned;
(ii) Appellant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of this case;
(iii) Appellant shall not leave the country without the previous permission of this Court;
(iv) Appellant shall surrender at once before the concerned Court on expiry of the term of this Short Term Bail, who will remand him to judicial custody.
