Sanjiv Khanna, J.—The petitioner has made the following prayers:

(i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus and or any other Direction, directing the respondent replace the burnt electricity meter of the Petitioner against the electricity connection K. No. 2640)B05 0016 installed at WZ-213, Near Shiv Mandir, Madipur, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi.

(ii) Issue a Writ of Mandamus and or any other Direction as this Hon''ble Court may deem fit, directing the Respondent to transfer the electricity connection in the name of the Petitioner at the premises bearing No. WZ-213, Near Shiv Mandir, Madipur, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi.

2.

The first prayer is rendered infructuous as a new electricity meter has already been installed under the relevant regulations.

3.

Counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the decision of Delhi High Court in the case of Mrs. Madhu Garg and Another Vs. North Delhi Power Ltd., and as proceedings before the Special Court are pending against the tenant, presently she is not pressing the second prayer. She seeks leave to withdraw the second prayer with liberty to approach the respondent, discom or this Court if required and necessary under changed circumstances.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
