This petition pertains to the claim made by the petitioner for conferment of work-charge status/ regularization, after condoning short breaks.
According to the petitioner, the issue is covered in his favour by a Division Bench judgment of this Court rendered in CWP No. 4367 of 2009, decided on 1st December, 2009. It is also submitted that the State has given an undertaking before this Court in C.M.P. No. 2308 of 2010 in C.W.P. No. 4367 of 2009 on 04.06.2010 that the judgment will be implemented in letter and spirit, within two months from 4th January, 2010. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of as follows:-
In case the petitioner herein is also similarly situated, as the petitioner covered by the decision, referred to above, a similar treatment shall be extended to the petitioner herein also. Needful in this behalf shall be done within two months on production of copy of this judgment alongwith the copy of the writ petition by the petitioner concerned.
Petition stands disposed of.
