Crl.M.(Bail) 473/2020
The appellant has been convicted for offences punishable under Sections 186, 279, 353, 332 and 308 IPC vide impugned order dated 7th March,
2020 and awarded sentence vide order dated 13th March, 2020 and directed to undergo sentence for simple imprisonment for three months on the first
two counts and simple imprisonment for one, two and three years respectively besides fine on the other three counts.
The sentence awarded to the appellant being three years' simple imprisonment, the learned Trial Court suspended the sentence for a period of thirty
days enabling the appellant to file an appeal.
The order dated 13th March, 2020 passed by the learned Trial Court directing the appellant to furnish a bail bond in sum of Rs.25,000/- and a surety
bond of the like amount is confirmed and on the same terms and conditions, the sentence of the appellant is suspended pending hearing of the appeal.
The application is disposed of.
