Judgment

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.
In view of the fact that the parties have submitted an application for divorce by mutual consent and also filed IA for waiving the statutory period, the parties seek that the IA may be considered at the earliest. It is stated that the petitioner is intending to go abroad and that the process has to be expedited.
The Judge in Charge of the Family Court, Pathanamthitta states that there is no officer at present in Family Court Pathanamthitta and that emergent matters are being called in the Family Court, Thiruvalla. It is further stated that since video linkage rules have become operative, any enquiry can be proceeded through video conferencing as well.
Having considered the contentions advanced on behalf of the parties, we are of the opinion that the matter is emergent and has to be called before the Family Court, Thiruvalla. The Judge in Charge of the Family Court, Pathanamthitta is directed to take steps to see that the IA. Nos.1, 2 and 3 of 2024 in OP(HMA).1175/2023 filed before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta are called on 13.3.2024 before the Family Court, Thiruvalla. The parties shall appear before the Family Court, Thiruvalla on 13.3.2024. In case the matter cannot be decided on the said day, appropriate steps shall be taken to see that the matter is decided through video conferencing at an appropriately early date. OP(FC) is ordered accordingly.
Registry shall communicate a copy of this order to the Judge in Charge of Family Court Pathanamthitta.
