Judgment
The Court: Let the affidavit of service as well as the notices produced in Court today by the petitioner be kept with the record.
Heard the petitioner in person. None appears on behalf of the respondents as the cease work decision of the three bars of this Court is continuing.
Let this matter be placed as a ‘Court Application’ on April 24, 2018 at the top under the said heading.
I have been informed by the petitioner that the respondent corporation which had started the departmental enquiry against him has not been holding
further proceedings of the enquiry since January, 2018. I direct the respondent corporation to proceed with the enquiry in the meantime, if they so
want, and the pendency of the writ petition shall not stand in the way of the holding of further proceedings of the enquiry. On the next date, the
respondent corporation shall inform the Court whether the allegation made by the petitioner that the enquiry has not been held after the first week of
January, 2018 is correct and, if so, why no such proceeding has been held in the meantime. The corporation shall also communicate the latest status
of the enquiry when this matter will be taken up next.
The petitioner is directed to communicate the gist of the order to the respondent nos.2, 3, 4 and 7 in course of this week.
