Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the people from Nepalese Origin (Nepali Labourers) are not getting food grains from the Fair Price Retail Shops, shelter and basic medical facilities, who are living in India for a substantial period of time i.e. for around 40 years.
We close this writ petition by giving a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Solan to make good the deficiency of supply of food grains, shelter and basic medical facilities, to Nepali Labourers by bringing them at par with the food grains, shelter and basic medical facilities, received by similarly placed persons on the basis of a list to be supplied by the learned Counsel for the petitioner. The needful be done immediately after receipt of such list. The learned Counsel for the petitioner is directed to supply the list of Nepali Labourers who are not getting food grains, shelter and basic medical facilities, to the Deputy Commissioner, Solan, within one week from today.
In case the petitioner feels still aggrieved, it shall be at liberty to approach this Court again.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of alongwith pending application(s), if any.
