Judgment
Anupinder Singh Grewal, J
The petitioner has challenged the orders whereby the petitioner has been relieved from service.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had been appointed as a Teacher in the respondent college. She had worked for over 3 years and without any justifiable basis she has been relieved from service. He also contends that the petitioner had been appointed for a period of one year but reappointed thereafter periodically just to defeat her claim for continuity in service.
Heard.
The petitioner was appointed on contract basis at a consolidated salary. She has been relieved from service after the end of the contractual period. The respondent school is a fully self financed institution. It is not getting any grant-in-aid from the government.
In view of the above especially when the petitioner is a contractual employee, I do not find any infirmity in reliving her from service at the end of the contractual period.
The petition stands dismissed.
