This Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for issuance of a limited direction to complete the investigation arising out of FIR No.49/2021 dated 16.07.2021 registered at PS Kelhari, District Korea for the offence under Sections 279, 337 and 304-A IPC, in an expeditious manner as also to file the final report.

Brief facts of the case are that on 22.03.2021, while the Petitioner was going with his son in a pick-up vehicle bearing registration No. MP 18 AH 4338 from village Semar Mathani to village Khamraud, the offending vehicle dashed the said pick-up vehicle due to which, the son of the Petitioner namely Dashrath Singh, aged 14 years died. Post-mortem was conducted on the dead body of the deceased on 27.03.2021 and FIR as mentioned above was lodged.

Shri Sinha, learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that till so far, no final report has been filed by the concerned SHO, therefore, a direction may be issued to him to complete the investigation in an expeditious manner as also to file the final report in accordance with law.

Learned State Counsel has no objection to the said prayer.

Having considered the submissions made and further considering that the FIR has been lodged in the month of July 2021, the concerned SHO is directed to complete the investigation in an expeditious manner strictly in accordance with law and file a final report as per the logical conclusion arrived at in the said investigation, preferably within a period of 6 months and the concerned Superintendent of Police is also directed to monitor the said investigation.

With the aforesaid observation, the Petition stands disposed of.
