By way of the instant writ petition, the petitioners are seeking a direction to the respondents to count the services rendered by them as Part Time and as whole time employees as qualifying service for the purpose of pension and the respondents may further be directed to hold the petitioners entitled to receive pension as per CCS Pension Rules, 1965 alongwith all other consequential benefits.
Having gone through the averments made in the writ petition as also the documents annexed therewith, it appears that the petitioners have straight away approached this court and have not made any demand/representation to the respondents for redressal of their grievances.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioners to approach the respondents, at the first instance, for redressal of their grievances. On receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider and pass appropriate order on the representation within a period of three months thereafter, in accordance with law.
It goes without saying that the petitioners will be at liberty to approach this Court for redressal of his grievances, in case the decision on the representation goes against them, if they are so advised.
Pending application(s), if any, also stand(s) disposed of.
