Petitioner seeks mandamus for directing the Registrar Firms and Societies, Punjab to register a New Committee which is allegedly looking after the affairs of Sh. Bhaironyati Sabha Parbandak Committee Chusma, Village Simbal Mazara, Teshil Balachaur, District SBS Nagar, Punjab.
At the very outset, it is noticed that the instant petition has been filed by Surinder Kumar in his individual capacity. The prayer being advanced in the instant petition is on behalf of a New Committee/Interim Committee, which is alleged to have been elected.
There is no averment in the writ petition and neither has any document being appended alongwith the writ petition, reflecting authorization in favour of the present petitioner to pursue the matter on behalf of the Interim Committee, which is stated to have been formed.
Under such circumstances, the instant petition at the hands of an individual person against the backdrop of the prayer raised in the petition is held not maintainable.
Dismissed.
