Judgment
Pursuant to the notice issued yesterday, i.e. on 10.05.2018, learned State counsel on instructions submits that the factum of the examination to be
undertaken by the petitioner (4th semester, B.Tech, at Jagannath University, Bahadurgarh), has been verified.
In view of the above, but also keeping in mind the allegations against the petitioner, without making any comment on the correctness or otherwise of
such allegations, it is directed that the petitioner would be taken in custody for the first three examinations to be held on the 14th, 15th and 16th of
May, between 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (as shown in the Date Sheet Annexure P-2).
As the next date of hearing before the trial Court is 15.05.2018, that Court would adjourn the hearing to 17.05.2018, and after proceedings before that
Court are complete on that date,(17.5.2018),(with the case to be taken on priority in view of the ongoing examinations of the petitioner), it would
thereafter admit him to interim bail to its satisfaction, till 02.06.2018, on which date the petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities by 5:00 p.m.,
after which he would be again taken in custody for his next examination, (thereby giving him sufficient time to prepare for examinations taking place
after 17.05.2018).
Since the petitioners' examination is on 14.05.2018, a copy of this order be given to learned counsel for the petitioner as also learned State counsel
under the signatures of the Bench Secretary.
Disposed of.
