1.

Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 19/2019 of PS Seemapuri for offence under Section 498A/406/34/506 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

2.

Learned ASC for State assisted by IO/SI Anil accepts notice and submits that he has no objection to this petition.

3.

Respondent no.2, present in Court and identified by the IO, also accepts notice.

4.

Keeping in mind the nature of dispute, I have spoken with respondent no. 2 in Court and it is stated by her that she has settled all matrimonial disputes with the petitioners. It is also stated by her that for past more than one year, she is living with the petitioners happily. From wedlock of petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2, two children were born and they also are living happily with the petitioners. That being so, respondent no. 2 submits that now she does not wish to continue prosecution of petitioners.

5.

In view of the above circumstances, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through full dress trial.

6.

Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 19/2019 of Police Station Seemapuri for offence under Section 498A/406/34/506 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Accompanying application also stands disposed of.
