Judgment
V. Jagannathan, J.—The Petitioner seeks bail in respect of the case registered against him for the offence punishable u/s 395 of IPC.
Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the State and on a perusal of the bail petition papers, it is noticed that this Court had earlier rejected the bail application in Crl.P. No. 2628/10 on 4.6.2010 and no changed circumstance is there and moreover the charge sheet has been submitted and this Court while rejecting the bail also observed that, having regard to the nature of offence alleged against the Petitioner, it is not a fit case for grant of bail.
Though learned Counsel for the Petitioner sought to draw my attention to certain discrepancies in the complaint as to number of persons present when the incident occurred on 11.5.2010, I am of the view that the petition is liable to be dismissed since this Court had earlier rejected the bail having regard to the nature of the offence alleged against the Petitioner.
The petition is therefore rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
