Judgment
Joseph, J.—The Petitioner has approached this Court complaining harassment by the police officials.
Briefly the case of the Petitioner is as follows. The Petitioner is living with his family and aged parents. He was working abroad from 2005 to 2007. Thereafter he returned to his native place and now he is working in different temples as ''santhi''. The 4th Respondent had received Rs. 50,000/- from the Petitioner promising to secure a job visa at Gulf. Due to the non-issuance of VISA, there are disputes between the Petitioner and the 4th Respondent. The Petitioner filed a complaint against the 4th Respondent before Judicial First Class Magistrate, Chengannur u/s 420 I.P.C. A crime was registered against the 4th Respondent, who is a highly influential person. He filed a false complaint before the Chengannur Police Station against the Petitioner. The second Respondent and his party came to the house of the Petitioner and threatened him and his aged parents.
The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the 4th Respondent has filed a petition before the NORKA alleging that whenever the 4th Respondent comes to India, the Petitioner files complaints against him and he is repeatedly summoned to the Police Station. That complaint was forwarded to the Superintendent of Police, who directed the Circle Inspector to enquir. The Petitioner was summoned to the Police Station once as part of the enquiry and his statement was recorded. It is further submitted that thereafter the Petitioner was not summoned. The learned Government Pleader submits that the Petitioner or the members of his family will not be harassed.
We record the said submissions and close this Writ Petition.
