Judgment
A compromise has been arrived at between the parties according to which it has been agreed that the Car will be inspected by an Engineer to be nominated by the President, Automobile Association of Upper India and the defects pointed-out by the Engineer would be got rectified by respondent No. 1 from the authorised workshop of respondent No. 1 to be selected by the complainant. In case some replacement including the replacement of Engine is advised by the Engineer that will be done. It has also been agreed that the period of warranty would be extended by six months or 10,000 kilometers whichever happens earlier. It has further been agreed that the repairs after the inspection of the Car by the Engineer would be carried-out within a period of four weeks. We order accordingly.
COPY of the order be given/sent to the parties concerned. A copy of the order be also sent to the President, Automobile Association of Upper India for nominating the Engineer. Honorarium of the Engineer for inspection of the Car shall be fixed by the President and that shall be paid by Respondent No. 1. The complaint stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs. Order accordingly.
