Judgment
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in respect of the alleged irregularities committed by Sarpanch and Secretary of
Grampanchayat Kharkata a complaint has been lodged by the petitioner with respondent no.3, the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat Singrauli,
District Singrauli (M.P.) under Section 40 of the Panchayat Raj and Gram Swaraj Adhiniyam, 1993. However, no decision has been taken on the
complaint filed by the petitioner.
It is further submitted that the competent authority i.e. Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat Singrauli may be directed to decide the complaint
lodged by the petitioner against the respondents No.5 & 6.
Taking into consideration the submissions put forth on behalf of the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent
No.3 the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Singrauli,
District Singrauli (M.P.) to take decision on the complaint lodged by the petitioner within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of the
order passed today and communicate the decision so taken to the petitioner.
It is made clear that, we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
With the aforesaid direction the present petition is finally disposed of.
