Judgment

This Revision Petition is directed against the judgment of conviction and sentence dated 07.6.2018 passed in Criminal Appeal No. 120/2017 by Eighth Additional Sessions Judge, District Gwalior.
Petitioner stood convicted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months, with fine of Rs.6,90,000/-.
During pendency of revision both the parties have amicably settled the dispute on the terms and conditions mentioned in I.A. No. 12549 of 2023, application under Section 147 of Negotiable Instruments Act.
Rajeev Gupta, brother of the petitioner, and respondent Manish Bansal are present in person and submitted that the petitioner and the respondent have arrived at compromise. They have been duly identified by their counsel. Their presence is marked.
In view of aforesaid, the impugned judgment of conviction and sentence dated 07.6.2018 passed in Criminal Appeal No. 120/2017 is hereby set aside on fulfilling the terms and conditions mentioned in I.A. No. 12549 of 2023.
Revision stands disposed of on aforesaid terms.
Petitioner is in custody in Central Jail, Gwalior. He be released from jail. A copy of this order be sent to the Courts below for information and necessary compliance.
