Judgment
The present review application has been filed by the complainant / applicants for review of the order dated 01.01.2024.
I have gone through the review application. In the said review application there is an error apparent on the face of the record which calls for rectification of the order dated 01.01.2024. The operative portion of the said order dated 01.01.2024 is reproduced below:
i. Opposite party shall refund the entire amount deposited by the complainant with simple interest @ 9% per annum on the deposited amount from the respective dates of deposit till the date of this order;
ii. This order shall be complied within two months failing which the amount shall be paid at the rate of 12% shall be paid; and
iii. Opposite party shall also pay litigation cost of Rs.50,000/- to the complainant.
The error is therefore corrected / amended which reads as follows:
i. Opposite party shall refund the entire amount deposited by the complainant with simple interest @ 9% per annum on the deposited amount from the respective dates of deposit till realisation;
ii. This order shall be complied within two months from the date of the order failing which the amount shall be paid at the rate of 12% per annum.
With these observations, RA is disposed of.
