Judgment
Heard Mr. Mohd. Umar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Vikas Pande, Brief Holder, for the State of Uttarakhand, Mr. K.C. Tiwari, learned counsel for respondent No. 5 and perused the records.
According to Mr. Mohd. Umar, Director, School Education, Uttarakhand vide letter dated 29.09.2011 has submitted a proposal for creation of posts of Assistant Teacher - L.T. Grade (Physical Education) to the State Government, but no decision has been taken thereupon.
Learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer and submits that the Competent Authority be directed to take a decision on the proposal so sent by the Director, School Education, Uttarakhand within a specified time frame.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Secretary, School Education Department, Uttarakhand Government to take a decision on the proposal sent by Director, School Education, Uttarakhand within a period of eight weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
