Judgment
Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:
(a) The respondents may kindly be directed to consider the case of the applicant and grant her family pension from the date of death of her brother.
(b) Arrears of pension be also paid to the applicant within interest.
In para 6(i) of the reply, it is stated as follows:
That the family pension application of the applicant has been rejected because of the lack of information. The applicant has not mentioned provident fund a/c No. of the deceased, the details of the family members. Further the applicant is neither class- I heir nor class II heir of the deceased and so the matter can only be considered if detailed information comes about the heirs of the deceased.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of making it clear that in the event of petitioner furnishing the requisite information, the matter will be duly considered by the third respondent, if not already considered within a period of three months. We also direct respondents No. 1 & 2 to take required follow up action, if not already taken to pursue the matter of the petitioner for family pension. In case the petitioner has already not received the pension, the action will be taken within another one month.
