Judgment
Vipin Sanghi, CJ
In compliance of our orders dated 23.09.2022 and 28.09.2022, the respondents have filed their affidavit on record. The respondents have stated that, in the light of the observations made by this Court regarding the procedure of recruitment, the respondent-University is willing to re-notify the recruitment advertisement for rest of the faculty positions, including the subject post in the present Writ Petition. It is further stated that the respondents shall strictly follow the procedure prescribed by law, which is taken note of by this Court.
Since the petitioner is stated not to have qualified even on her own merit, no further directions are called for.
The respondents shall, however, remain bound by their undertaking contained in the affidavit of Shri Hari Maul Azad, Officiating Registrar, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal (Central) University, Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal dated 27.10.2022.
It goes without saying that the respondents shall follow the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in relation to reservation of posts.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
In sequel thereto, pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
