Judgment

The petitioners have approached this Court seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners, whereby the petitioners have claimed the compensation on account of registration of F.I.R. on the basis of complaint lodged by the petitioners under the provisions of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are victim and petitioners have lodged an F.I.R. at Police Station Gorabazar, District Jabalpur which was registered as Crime No.0192/2025 under sections 296, 119(1), 115(2), 118(1), 351(2) of BNS and under Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, but the amount of compensation has not been granted to the petitioners as per the provisions of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995. He further submits that petitioners have already submitted a representation before the respondents, but the same has not been decided till now.
Considering the same, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation submitted by the petitioners on 08.08.2025 within a period of 30 days, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking and reasoned order, from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the outcome of the same to the petitioners.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
With the aforesaid, present petition is disposed of.
