On 22.11.2023, the following order was passed:
“Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner was offered appointment letter on 08.09.2023 and she was allowed to join on 12.09.2023. The petitioner continued to work from 12.09.2023 to 16.11.2023, however, vide order dated 17.11.2023 (Annexure P-10), she was directed not to continue. The service of the petitioner has been discontinued without show cause notice and without granting opportunity of hearing.
Notice of motion returnable for 12.12.2023.
Mr. Aseem Aggarwal, Advocate, who on advance notice is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and waives service. He seeks time to get instructions and address the arguments. To be shown in urgent.”
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that respondent would pay salary of the petitioner, if not already paid for the period from 12.09.2023 to 17.11.2023, within 2 weeks from today.
Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent has issued show cause notice dated 11.12.2023 calling upon the petitioner to file reply within 15 days. The petition may be disposed of, subject to payment of salary of the aforesaid period within 2 weeks. The petitioner would file reply to show cause notice.
In the wake of statements of both side, the present petition stands disposed of.
