By way of present application, moved under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., applicants seek to quash the entire proceedings of Case No. 1559 of 2017 (Case Crime No.62 of 2017), 'State vs. Sukhveer and others', pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate-1st, Roorkee, District Haridwar.

The parties have filed the above-numbered compounding application to show that they have buried their differences and have settled their disputes amicably.

It is contended by learned counsel for the applicants that the offences punishable under Sections 323, 324, 504, 506 IPC are compoundable offences and the offence punishable under Section 354 IPC is also compoundable offence with the permission of the Court.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the compounding application.

Parties are present before this Court today and are identified by their respective counsels.

The applicant no.3-Raj Singh has also submitted an information on 01.02.2017 with the same Police Station, which was registered as FIR No.63 of 2017 under Sections 323 & 324 IPC in which compromise has taken place between the parties today; these are cross cases.

Accordingly, compounding application is allowed. The entire proceedings, mentioned hereinabove, pending between the parties are hereby quashed against the present applicants only, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

Present C482 application stands disposed of, as above.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
