Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0019 dated 17.03.2021, under Sections 313, 498-A, 323, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Sadiq,
District Faridkot.
Vide order dated 23.06.2021, the petitioner was directed to join investigation.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 23.06.2021, petitioner has joined the investigation and appeared before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. He submits that the negotiations were carried on. However, the same remained unsuccessful. He prays that the interim bail to the petitioner may be made absolute.
Learned counsel for the complainant submits that the petitioner has caused mental and physical harassment to the complainant and hence, the negotiations remained unsuccessful and as such present petition be dismissed.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Gurmail Singh, affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation.
In view of the above, interim order dated 23.06.2021 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
Petition stands allowed.
