Judgment
Pursuant to the order of the Court dated March 6, 2020, the petitioner sent copy of the said order along with some documents to the Headmaster and
Managing Committee of Mahesh High School (H.S.). Both the envelopes returned with the endorsement “refusedâ€.
It is submitted by the petitioner that the school has stopped the salary of the petitioner on and from May, 2019. It is submitted by the petitioner that
over a period of five years the salary has not been paid and he has not been allowed to join the school.
Mr. Chatterjee, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the State-respondents, submits that he sought for instructions but instructions have not yet
been received.
Under such circumstances, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Hooghly is directed to file a report with regard to the allegations of the petitioner
and to incorporate the version of the school authorities as the school authorities have refused service thereby showing little respect for orders of this
Court.
The postal envelopes are taken on record.
As this relates to non-payment of salary, the matter should be enlisted before the appropriate Bench in the first week of December, 2020.
Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a supplementary affidavit annexing the tabulation of month-wise paid and unpaid salary.
