This writ petition has been filed to give a direction to the respondent to extend the time in Ext.P3.
I have heard Sri. R. Sunil Kumar, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. B.S. Syamanthak, the learned Government Pleader.
The petitioner was given work order for supply of ordinary earth for the construction of NH-66 by the contractors M/s. Viswasamudra Engineering Private Limited. The respondent granted Ext.P3 quarrying permit to the petitioner to remove ordinary earth from the property. According to the petitioner, when he tried to remove the earth, local people opposed the same. Hence, he could not remove the ordinary earth. Ext.P3 permit granted was for a period of one year. It expired on 7.8.2024. The petitioner filed Ext.P9 representation before the respondent seeking extension of time.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to dispose of Ext.P9 representation in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
