This hearing has been conducted through hybrid mode.

The present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950, with the following relief: -

“In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to set aside the impugned order dated 21.01.2026 and pass necessary orders whereby a time frame be fixed for the disposal of the counter claim No. 1 of 2016 titled as 'Sudesh Kumar Bhasin (since deceased) through his legal representatives Versus Shyam Setia and Others', and the Ld. Court of Shri Neeraj Sharma, Ld. District Judge-04, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi, be directed to decide the said counter claim suit within the time frame so fixed by this Hon'ble Court which matter was filed some where in the year 2009 and is pending for the last more than 16 years, in the interest of justice.”

Heard. Record perused.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is not pressing the present petition for any other relief except that the learned Trial Court be directed to dispose of the matter expeditiously.

Keeping in view the fact that the matter pertains to the year 2009 and the submission of the counsel, the learned Trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the case expeditiously, after taking into consideration the pendency of the cases in the Court.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
