Judgment

This is an application for extension of time for complying with the orders of this Court dated 07.02.2023, passed in the connected writ petition, whereby an enquiry has been directed to be conducted by the then Commissioner and Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Education Department, with regard to the appointment and service of the teachers in Khetadhowa, SSA UP School.
Mr. K.P. Bhattacharjee, learned GA submits that as there is a new incumbent in the office of the Commissioner and Secretary, and that the enquiry is still under way. He prays that appropriate orders be passed for extension and for allowing the report to be filed by the new incumbent.
The same is not objected to by the other learned counsels appearing in these matters. Accordingly, in consideration of the prayer made, the applicant is allowed 60(sixty) days to complete the enquiry and to file a report.
It is made clear that the respondents are at liberty to file the report through the present Commissioner and Secretary, Govt. of Meghalaya.
Misc. Case stands disposed of.
