Mr. A. Kumar, learned AG appearing on behalf of the petitioner, at the outset, has brought to the notice of this Court the act of alleged violation of this Court’s order dated 08.10.2021 passed in WP(C) No. 229 of 2021 with specific reference to the order at para 8, particularly at sub para (ii) and (iii) annexed as Annexure C/1 to this contempt petition.

It is alleged that the respondent/contemnor in clear violation of the direction of this Court set therein in the aforesaid mentioned order, has sought to alienate part of the property by way of a Deed of Rectification dated 24.06.2022 and also by way of a Registered Sale Deed dated 24.02.2022 (copy of which is not annexed in this petition) and as such, an act of contempt of this Court’s order has occurred, for which necessary directions may be passed by this Court in this regard.

On consideration of the submission made, the petitioner is directed to take steps for issuance of notice upon the respondent contemnor, the same returnable within 2(two) weeks.
