IA No. 1830 of 2022 and IA No. 1732 of 2022 have been filed for withdrawal of LPA No. 382 of 2018 and LPA No. 527 of 2018 respectively.

Mr. Sachin Kumar, the learned Additional Advocate General-II, submits that the order passed by the writ Court in WP(S) No. 3587 of 2017, WP(S) No. 4841 of 2017, WP(S) No. 3559 of 2017 and WP(S) No. 3688 of 2017 has been accepted by the State of Jharkhand, consequent upon which the writ petitioners have been granted scale of pay in Grade-I from the date of their respective date of appointments.

Mr. Bhanu Kumar, the learned counsel for the respondents who were petitioners before the writ Court, submits that the writ Court's order dated 26th April 2018 is based on the judgment in LPA No. 214 of 2008 titled “Arun Sinha and others v. State of Jharkhand and others” as well as several other orders passed by the writ Court including in WP(S) No. 6264 of 2005 titled “Jharkhand Police Association v. State of Jharkhand”.

In view of the above, the learned counsels for the appellants seek permission to withdraw these Letters Patent Appeals.

Permission, as sought for, is granted.

Accordingly, LPA No. 384 of 2018, LPA No. 382 of 2018, LPA No. 391 of 2018 and LPA No. 527 of 2018 are disposed of as withdrawn.

Consequently, IA No. 6433 of 2018 in LPA No. 384 of 2018; IA No. 1830 of 2022, IA No. 6419 of 2018 and IA No. 6420 of 2018 in LPA No. 382 of 2018; IA No. 6574 of 2018 in LPA No. 391 of 2018 and; IA No. 1732 of 2022 and IA No. 8639 of 2018 in LPA No. 527 of 2018 stand disposed of.
