This Letters Patent Appeal has been preferred by the Appellants against the judgment dated 2.11.2010 of the Learned Single Judge rendered in CWP No. 4053/2009.
Respondent had filed CWP No. 4053 seeking regularization after completion of requisite number of years with 240 days in a block of 12 calendar months. Learned Single Judge on the basis of mandays'' chart has come to a conclusion that Respondent has completed eight years continuous service with 240 days in each calendar year in the year 2009. Thereafter, Learned Single Judge directed the Appellants to consider the case of the Petitioner by taking 2003 as the first year. We have gone through the judgment.
We are of the considered view that since the Respondent has completed eight years continuous service with 240 days in the year 2009, the direction issued by the Learned Single Judge need not be interfered with.
Consequently, there is no merit in the Letters Patent Appeal and the same is dismissed with no order as to costs. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
