G.Ilangovan, J
The petitioner/Accused rank not known, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A) and Section 4 of TN Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.Not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre by the order dated 05.07.2023. Inspite of specific direction issued by this Court to the petitioner to appear before the Mediation Centre on 26.09.2023, he did not appear on that date. The defacto complainant very much appeared before the Mediation Centre. It is a very long pending matter.
3.Since already specific direction was issued by this Court that was not complied by the petitioner without any proper reason. Let the above said complaint be pursued by the second respondent on its own merits. If any trouble arises during the course of enquiry, the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.
With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
