Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/accused and the learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

The respondent-police registered F.I.R. against two unknown persons in their Cr.No.236/16. After completion of investigation, charge sheet is filed in respect of the offence punishable under section 392 of IPC.

The allegation is, on 22.7.2016 A-1 and A-2 while proceeding on the motorcycle, snatched a gold chain of CW-1 and they were caught with the stolen property by CW-3, the husband of the friend of the complainant.

The petitioner is said to be in custody for the last six months. Investigation having been complete, there is no impediment to allow the petition.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Petitioner is enlarged on bail in Crime No.236/2016 of respondent- police, subject to the following conditions:

He shall execute a self bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one local surety for the likesum.

The surety shall produce his original title deeds pertaining to the immovable properties and his identity/Aadhar card for perusal of the Court. He must not have previous history of offering surety to any accused in any other criminal case so far.
