Judgment
A.S. Bopanna
The petitioneris before this Court seeking for the following relief: a) Declare by issuing a writ or order that there is no movement restrictions of rice and paddy for tiansporting it from one place to another place within the state and also outside the state.
b) Issue any other appropriate writ or order of direction as this Hon''ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case including an order as to costs.
In that regard, the said issue has already been considered by this Court in several petitions more particularly in W.P. Nos. 47930-47933/2011. This Court by relying on the decisions passed earlier has held that there cannot be any restrictions on the movement of rice and paddy both within the State as well as outside the State. 2. In that view.of the matter, the instant petition is also disposed of in similar terms, declaring that there shall be no restrictions on the movement of rice and paddy both within the State as well as outside the State.
In terms of the above, writ petition is disposed of Learned A.S.G. as well as learned Govt. Advocate are permitted to file memo of appearance in four weeks time.
