T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The Petitioner is working as Headmistress of the Government Higher Secondary School, Pulloot in Thrissur District. The grievance raised is against Ext.P6 order whereby various persons included in the seniority list have been promoted as Principals of Government Higher Secondary Schools. It is the case of the Petitioner that even though the Petitioner is serial No. 486 in Ext.P5 seniority list, so many persons who are lower than the Petitioner have been given promotion and posting. It is the submission of the Petitioner that the required details called for as per Ext.P2 notification were forwarded within time. The learned Government Pleader on getting instructions submitted that at the time of the meeting of the DPC, confidential report and other details of the Petitioner were not there and that was the reason why the Petitioner''s name did not figure in Ext.P6.

2.

I am not pronouncing finally on the matter since, in Ext.P7-representation, the Petitioner has reiterated the stand that all the details were submitted within time.

3.

Therefore, there will be a direction to the first Respondent to take a decision on Ext.P7 with notice to the Petitioner and any other affected parties within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment. The Petitioner will produce a copy of the writ petition along with a copy of the judgment before the first Respondent for compliance. The writ petition is disposed of as above.

No costs.
