Judgment
Alok Singh, J.—This is an application seeking regular bail in case FIR No. 158 dated 2.8.2010 under Sections 420/467/468/471 IPC, P.S. Raikot, District Ludhiana.
Record of the case reveals that charges against the Petitioner are that he has made wrong entries in the original licence of the complainant by using the forged Stamps and has also forged signatures of District Magistrate, Ferozepur on the licence and deleted the entry of .380 weapon and made entry of new pistol 7.62 on the original licence. Challan has already been submitted and the Petitioner is in judicial custody w.e.f. 23.8.2010.
In the opinion of this Court, beside the complainant, only official witnesses are to be examined and the licence on which entries are said to be forged by the Petitioner, is already in the custody of the prosecution. It is stated that the Petitioner cannot tamper with the said licence.
Considering totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, present petition is allowed. The Petitioner is directed to be released on bail during the trial to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
