Dinesh Mehta, J

1.

By way of the present petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 10.08.2023, passed by the Secretary (Admn.) Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd., Ajmer, whereby he has been posted at Chhoti Sadri up to 31.12.2023 or till further orders, whichever is earlier.

2.

The petitioner present in person submitted that he has been transferred in the guise of work arrangement and the place where he is required to discharge his duties is at a distance of about 140 km from his residence.

3.

Petitioner argued that the order under the label of work arrangement is illegal and contrary to the transfer policy and has been issued with a view to avoid payment of applicable T.A.

4.

Having heard the petitioner and considering that the petitioner’s posting is for a short span i.e. for four months, for the purpose of an assigned task, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the writ petition.

5.

The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed.

6.

In case the period of order dated 10.08.2023 is extended beyond the date given (31.12.2023), the petitioner shall be free to file fresh writ petition, in accordance with law.

7.

Stay petition also stands dismissed.
